“I think we teach way to many subjects and we cover way too much material and the end result is that students have a very superficial knowledge as we often say a mile wide and an inch deep and then once they leave school almost everything has been forgotten” I completely agree with the quote above, I think it is ridiculous that in Colombian schools students take about 14 to 16 subjects in a school year. Consequently, the students have work overload which causes them to focus on the grade and not on their learning process.
This theory is so useful, because we as a teacher can identify some students' issues, advantages, disadvantages, likes and dislikes. We cannot focus on knowledge. If a student is very intelligent in math, it does not mean he/she has to be excellent in chemistry. When we find these facts in the classroom, we already have known ,what is the parting point.
I can conclude that; in our context, teachers and goverment just overload students with many information, and they have forgotten students' necesities or motivation. i guess the lack of the application of this theory has caused a kind of frustation to students and school gets bored
I think that human have capacity and skillfulness unpublished to help themselves to solve problems even to create infinity knowledge, people have different intelligences and potency, but talking about educational context, for instance the participants possess different kind of mind in order to learn, remember and understand in different ways. But really in our country the participants are being saturated with a lot of information that probably out of classroom they have forgotten. For this reason I consider import what say Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences causes we as a teacher can identify participant´s skills, and capabilities also help them to develop their strength their confidence to promote and improve areas in which they are not as strong. Currently education is an ongoing challenge and this has to be addressed taking into account the diversity of each student. It is important to know that teaching methodologies used in the past are no longer useful nowadays and that must be considered the new theories that may be appropriate in understanding the teaching and learning process. A positive point of this theory is that it takes into account human diversity and it has no the conception that all students acquire knowledge in the same way, that nowadays they do not learn by heart and that teachers cannot give to them just concepts and more concepts without a meaningful teaching. Current teachers have to keep in mind that there is not just one way to teach and just one way to learn and that the modern teaching and learning process is a challenge they must face, with creativity and inventiveness, by adapting new theories to the needs identified in their students and providing them the best material which can help them to develop their faculties and generate meaningful learning.
It is interesting to listen that there are alwaysa lot a of way to show the same topic and one of those options is giong to be adecuate to make students get interested in what your are trying to teach.

At first this video tells us, why we have schools, it is because we think we are gonig to use everything that we learn in our lifes, but it is not true. However people learn in many different ways, so people represents theirs minds in a creative way, others logical, artistic and more. In fact we should give resources useful to our students and search new tools to undertand, which are the elements than make fell comfortable our students in the learning process.
I think that this thery is a different way to thinking about learning because we as teachers can have other perspectives about learning and teaching , i think that we as taecher can take this kind of theory and try to apply its in a real context, because people dont learn of the same way and not all have the same abilities, some people has abilities related with arts, music, maths, sports and our job as teachers is be a guide and help them to developt thei abilities.
Firstly, people learn in adifferent way , one of them is conduted by comitte on development and the act of hearing attentively, but is too a technique used for understanding of course. It includes many socio-linguistics branches as well as context. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention, and besides how we use our prior knowledge to fit the new one.
Everyone has different ways to learn. We as English teachers need to get different methodologies and strategies to support the process of learning of our students. It´s important to know that there are some children who get special learning, so, in this case teachers must provide suitable resources to support and ease that students develop their multiple intelligences. According to the video, this professor talks about two of the most important academical aspects at school such as: assessment and feedback related to self-assessment. In my personal opinion, I think that assessment or feedback are are academic processes to identify the weaknesses and strenghts of our students. On the other hand, comminment is an important aspect to get a good process of learning at school. In adittion, we have to take into account the prior knowlwdge of learners due to students can share among them what they have learned before.
People dont learn in the same way, for that reason teachers have to evaluate every context of teaching, in order to create and develop activities to grab the attention of the students, activities where they share their own experiences and be part of their learning process.
According to the text, ESP is based on designing courses to get learners' needs. After The Second World War appeared two forces around the world, such as: Technology and commerce. English became the principal language used for international business. On the other hand, some people need to learn English to get good jobs. Nowadays, people are learning English through books that are designed with strategies and activities by which people can learn and communicate easily. I think, English has gotten a great influence in many areas of life. To sum up, Technology is related to learning and teaching of another language, that is, Technology gives us good tools to teach and learn English in a good way.
i think the best way in which people learn is thanks to the dynamic classes and the didactis material used by the teacher in the learning process, also people need extrinsic and inttrinsic motivation which depends langely on the teacher.
